WWE obviously cares about tradition, and they want to maintain their annual events for as long as possible. However, with WWE announcing a show at MSG for one of John Cenas last dates, it seems the company might not be following a longtime tradition this year.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE will not hold its usual post-Christmas live event at Madison Square Garden this year. However, the company will still return to the famous arena in November, when John Cena is scheduled to make his final appearance at the venue.
However, it is to be noted that WWE intentionally didnt announce last years post-Christmas Madison Square Garden show for December 26, 2024, since they wanted to focus on events before that.
John Cena will be appearing at Madison Square Garden on November 17th and unsurprisingly, its not going to come cheap. The Ringsider Package is leading the way with a ridiculous price tag of $2,368.25 and thats just one of many packages.
WWE skipping its annual December 26th Madison Square Garden show shows how significant John Cenas farewell tour has become. For fans, November 17th is set to be an emotional and historic night, even though many will miss the long-standing holiday tradition that has been part of WWE history at MSG for generations.
