Luka Doncic once again delivered a monster performance at EuroBasket, but this time his brilliance wasnt enough to carry Slovenia through.

Doncic went off for 39 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, pushing Slovenia to a 7-point advantage late in the third quarter.

But just before the buzzer, Germanys Tristan da Silva drilled a half-court shot that swung momentum.

In the fourth quarter, Germany surged ahead and closed out a 99-91 win.

Germany leaned on balanced scoring to get it done. Orlando forward Franz Wagner poured in 23 points with seven rebounds, while Sacramento guard Dennis Schroder added 20 points and seven assists.

Big man Daniel Theis chipped in 15 points and nine rebounds, giving Germany the depth Slovenia could not match.

For Slovenia, it was another night of Doncic doing everything possible to keep his team alive, but Slovenia had no answers once Germany seized control.

However, we got a glimpse into what to expect from Doncic this season and it was electric.

The Lakers star finishes EuroBasket averaging 34.7 PPG on 65 percent true shooting. Its the most points per game in a single EuroBasket run in 35+ years (per NBA University_X).

Much to Nico Harrisons dismay, he was also nominated for the best defender award at the tournament.

Germanys unbeaten run now sets up a semifinal clash with Finland, who continued their Cinderella push with a 93-79 upset win over Georgia.

Utah product Mikael Jantunen paced Finland with 19 points, while Lauri Markkanen added 17 points and made his presence felt defensively with four blocks.
