Donald Trump declared Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner "unbelievable talents," and added more as the United States President says the current two top-ranked players in the men's game "hit the ball harder than I've ever seen before."

On Sunday, Trump made his first appearance at Flushing Meadows since 2015. And he came to watch an Alcaraz and Sinner showdown, which ended with the Spanish tennis star sealing a 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-4 win.

When it was revealed last week that the United States President would attend the men's final, it instantly drew major attention. And Alcaraz didn't hide that he was happy about it.

"Well, I loved it. First of all, the two players have unbelievable talent. It just seems that they hit the ball harder than Ive ever seen before, incredible talent. And I enjoyed it. I used to go all the time. Lately, its a little bit more difficult to go. I really enjoyed it. They were really nice," Trump said.

Trump reacts to the US Open crowd boos

When Trump was shown on the big screen and introduced, some crowd members started heavily booing. While the moment wasn't captured on TV, it was recorded by certain spectators and made its way onto social media. However, the United States President dismissed it by describing the crowd as "very nice."

"The fans were really nice. I didn't know what to except. Usually, you would say that would be a somewhat progressive, as they say nowadays, crowd. Some people would call it liberal but we'll use the word they like to use, progressive, but they were great. The fans were great," the United States President added.

Long before becoming the President of the United States, Trump used to attend US Open matches.
