Aryna Sabalenka was in celebratory mood after securing the US Open title as the Belarusian tennis star noted she was ready for some drinks, and then showed up to her presser with a champagne bottle.

After falling short in two Grand Slam finals and losing in a Major semifinal earlier this year, the world No. 1 finally made her 2025 Slam breakthrough at the US Open after overcoming Amanda Anisimova 6-3 7-6 (3) in the final. When the tournament started, the Belarusian said that she was given some "tough lessons" earlier this year, and that she didn't want the same fate in New York.

Sabalenka, who was on a mission, successfully completed it. And while speaking with Sloane Stephens for ESPN, the new four-time Major winner couldn't hide her excitement.

"Oh girl, we're gonna drink. There is my club over there, and I definitely feel like going in and letting myself enjoy, because you have to enjoy. I put the hard work in and now I have time, a few days, to celebrate and let it sink in," the 27-year-old said.

After revealing her intention to celebrate with some drinks, the reigning US Open champion entered the press room with a champagne bottle and with Moet glasses. The reporters laughed while she remarked: "Hello everybody, it's going to be a fun media."

Sabalenka has now won four Grand Slams since 2023. Also, the 27-year-old Belarusian has been firmly holding the world No. 1 spot for exactly a year now.
