Dirty Dominik is still up to his old tricks.
WWE RAW went down at theParis La Dfense Arena in Paris, France on September 1. This included a lot of fallout after Clash in Paris, and the IC Title was on the line.
The WWE Intercontinental Championship was on the line this week as Dominik Mysterio put his title on the line against AJ Styles. This is a match that Styles has been looking for, and he finally got it after Clash in Paris.
The fans in Paris were nuclear hot for AJ Styles as they filled the arena with chants for him. Then Dominik Myserio attacked him during the ring introductions to get even more heat for himself. The match got started from there, and it was fast-paced, with AJ Styles gaining an early advantage.
Dominik Mysterio won the IC Title 133 days ago at WrestleMania 41. That being said, this has been quite a reign, and fans in Paris wanted to see that come to an end.
Just when AJ Styles was about to hit his Phenomenal Forearm, El Grande Americano showed up and tripped him on the apron. Then he nailed a headbutt with his loaded mask. Then Dominik Mysterio hit his frog splash and got the pin to retain the title.
We will have to see what is next for the WWE IC Title scene. Dominik Mysterio is certainly destined to do great things in WWE, and AJ Styles has obviously cemented himself as a shoo-in Hall of Famer.
