He explained that his goal has always been to entertain the audience as best as possible, which sometimes means taking risks and making bold choices.

However, he pointed out that its also important to listen to the fans. He noted that during his matches against Randy Orton, CM Punk in Saudi Arabia, and Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, the reactions shifted and the energy of the crowd made it clear that changes were needed.

John Cena said that while bold moves can be exciting, going against the energy of the audience is a losing battle, so its sometimes necessary to pivot and change direction.
