Dark Side of the Ring finished its sixth season earlier this year and since then, fans have been wondering if Season 7 will air eventually. As it stands, the future of the show is currently uncertain.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider was asked if a new season of Vice TVs Dark Side of the Ring is on the way. He explained that there has been no official announcement yet, but some interviews have already been filmed that could be used if the series continues.
Season 6 finished up in May this year and it explored the stories of Eddie Gilbert, Tony Atlas, Mick Foleys brutal Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker, and Superstar Billy Graham. And if past seasons are any indication, the producers have no shortage of controversial subjects to explore next.
Since premiering in 2019, Dark Side of the Ring has explored some of the most troubling stories in pro wrestling. Covering everything from murder and violence to betrayal and ruined careers, the show has never held back in showing the darker side of the industry.
Fans are still waiting for an official update, but the fact that interviews have already been recorded is a good sign that Season 7 of Dark Side of the Ring could still happen. For now, all anyone can do is guess which shocking stories the producers might choose to cover next.
