Streaming issues plagued ROH Death Before Dishonor on Saturday night, and fans using Chrome and Firefox were left unable to access the show through Honor Club.
Ring of Honor acknowledged the problem during the broadcast, stating: We are aware that there is an issue with viewing on the browsers CHROME + FIREFOX. Our service provider Brightcove is working on a solution now. You can view on Safari + the ROH App, without service disruption. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Shortly after the technical failure, the remainder of the event was made available for free on YouTubewith no announcement or warning. The PPV stream simply appeared on ROHs official channel, allowing fans to continue watching without interruption or a paywall.
The sudden move gave fans an unexpected way to catch the rest of the show after Honor Clubs platform failed to deliver.
Did you end up watching the rest of Death Before Dishonor on YouTube? Should ROH have addressed the switch more directly? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
