September could be a career-altering month for NXT star Lola Vice, whos now set for two major title matchesone in WWE and one in AAA.
Vice will challenge for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship on September 7 at a television taping in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Shell team with Lince Dorado to take on current champions La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana. This match marks Vices continued involvement with AAA, where shes been wrestling while still active on the NXT roster.
The same month, Vice is also scheduled to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Womens Championship at WWE No Mercy. The dual title opportunities make September a major proving ground for the former MMA fighter.
Vice recently appeared on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast and spoke about what wrestling in Mexico has done for her development, saying its helped her both in-ring and as an entertainer.
Lince Dorado, who joins her for the AAA title shot, currently works behind the scenes in WWE NXT as a coach, while still wrestling occasionally. His experience in lucha libre could give the team an edge when they step into the AAA ring.
The AAA taping also comes just days before the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event on September 12 in Las Vegas, suggesting Vices involvement could continue to play a role in the ongoing collaboration between the two promotions.
