The August 29 episode of WWE SmackDown took place at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Dcines, France. This was the final show before Clash in Paris on Sunday.
The Street Profits faced Melo Dont Miz in a tag team number one contenders match. The winner would earn a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships. That means facing The Wyatt Sicks, which is more of a threat than a reward.
The Wyatt Sicks delivered a warning to the Street Profits and Melo Dont Miz prior to this match. So, both teams knew what they were getting into. This match finally went down during the shows second hour, and fans were more than ready for it.
Fans were red-hot for this match as it stretched through a commercial break. The crowd chanted the whole time, and they also had to bleep a few of them.
After a back-and-forth match carried on, Montez Ford nailed a From The Heavens onto the wrong man, so the match carried on. Eventually, the Street Profits nailed a Revelation double team move to win the match and become the Wyatt Sicks next opponent.
