John Cena showed up to apologize.
The August 29 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Dcines, France. They are on their way to Clash in Paris, but John Cena was around to put the finishing touches on his feud with Logan Paul.
The Greatest of all Time started up his program with The Maverick after his historic 17th World Title reign ended. That being said, this seemed to be a pit-stop on Cenas way to another confrontation with Brock Lesnar.
John Cena has done a lot over his career, but he never turned heel until recently. He is now a babyface after that run was over, but he had a lot of things to make up along the way.
Several months ago, John Cena made a kid cry when they were in Brussels. That same kid was around for SmackDown this week. After a back-and-forth promo with John Cena and Logan Paul, the Unseen 17 came out to apologize to that kid.
This was quite a moment on SmackDown, and it was another full circle moment for John Cena. Only time will tell what goes down at Clash in Paris, but he and Logan Paul will have quite a story to tell.
