Chris Jerichos future in wrestling has created plenty of speculation, with many fans wondering if he might make a return to WWE. While nothing has been confirmed, it seems his WWE theme song was heard playing outside the arena before this weeks SmackDown.
As revealed by footage making rounds online, Chris Jerichos iconic WWE theme song was being played outside the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France, ahead of this weeks episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
This comes after we have previously reported that many inWWE believe that Chris Jericho returning to WWE is inevitable, as his AEW contract is set to expire in December this year.
Chris Jericho even admitted thathe would consider returning to WWE one day, as he didnt really want to leave anything off the table in the future. He evencreated speculation after liking a post about returning to WWEas well, but WWE Creative hasnt really discussed Jerichos return yet.
Whether it was an intentional tease or just a coincidence, hearing Chris Jerichos WWE theme outside SmackDown has only fueled speculation about a possible return. With his AEW contract set to expire later this year, well have to see what will become of Jericho in the end.
