In the last few months, there has been less and less talk about the negotiations between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour and the eventual final agreement. Although the public expected things to be wrapped up much earlier, it appears that both sides have certain conditions that need to be met in order to reach a final settlement. Some wonder who is holding back the whole process, but there is still no answer.
Although the leaders of both tours have been sharing optimistic messages for months, it seems that we will have to be very patient. And whether we will ever see these two tours under one roof is difficult to answer.
Graeme McDowell, a golfer who used to be part of the PGA Tour before joining LIV, commented on the situation in the golf scene. He believes that the arrival of new CEOs from both sides is probably a good indication that things could be moving in the right direction.

In addition, he believes that the best golfers should play together, and at the end he did not forget to praise LIV Golf, convinced that it has serious intentions in the world of golf.
"The best players in the world need to play together more often - that is the headline. Rory (McIlroy) doesn't want to play 25 times a year, so you only have a certain number of weeks to take the best players and put them together - outside of the four majors.
LIV is trucking along. The product continues to get better and better. A lot of people maybe don't love it yet, but looking from the inside I think we are doing a better job every season."- he said, as quoted by BBC.
McDowell's future
The well-known Northern Irishman expects his future on the controversial Tour to be much brighter.

He hopes to remain a part of LIV Golf for the long haul, admitting that he is motivated and ready to win. He didn't have a chance to win the trophy at LIV Golf this year, but he believes that next year could bring a different story.
McDowell is someone who wants to play in the Ryder Cup, expecting the situation on the golf scene to calm down in the future. However, how realistic it is at the moment is hard to say.
