NXT fans wont need to scramble for a new streaming home just yet. Despite WWEs billion-dollar shift that brings main roster Premium Live Events to ESPNs direct-to-consumer platform after Clash in Paris, the black-and-silver brand isnt making that moveat least not for now.
Sean Ross Sapp confirmed during the August 25, 2025 episode of the Fightful Report podcast that WWEs new ESPN deal went through only after Peacock gave the green light. But not everything is leaving Peacock. In fact, two key WWE properties are staying put for the time being:
This means events like NXT Deadline, Halloween Havoc, and Stand & Deliver will still stream via Peacockeven as WWEs biggest shows begin a new era under the Disney-owned ESPN umbrella.
Earlier, it was reported that NXTs library and future PLE rights could be up for grabs, hinting that WWE may eventually shop them around or add them to the ESPN platform. For now, though, theres no indication that NXTs schedule or accessibility is changing.
Its a relief for fans whove followed NXTs resurgence in recent years and were unsure what WWEs evolving streaming strategy would mean for the developmental brand.
