Theres finally a glimmer of hope in the disturbing situation surrounding independent wrestler Syko Stu.
After suffering a violent real-life beatdown at a KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event that left him hospitalized in critical condition, his brother Andrew Smith has now issued a new updatethis time with encouraging news.
Stu, whose real name is Stuart Smith, had been left with broken facial bones and severe dental injuries after Raja Jackson stormed the ring and launched into a real attack. Footage later emerged of KnokX Pros AJ Mana telling Raja backstage to give him his f**king receipt following a botched in-ring spot. That moment would spark a full LAPD investigation and public outrage as the wrestling world rallied behind Stu.
Now, days later, Andrew has revealed that his brother is conscious and aware of what happened that day. Sharing a heartfelt Facebook update on August 25, Andrew wrote:
This update is the first indication that Syko Stu is slowly recovering after being in critical care. Previously, Andrew had warned fans to avoid fake donation links after reports of fraudulent fundraisers surfaced. He made it clear at the time that We currently do not have a GoFundMe set up, any links posted are not affiliated with us.
Well keep you posted once the official donation link becomes available from the family.
