WWE NXT Heatwave goes live tonight from the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, but just hours before showtime, the event still hasnt sold out.
According to WrestleTix, only 299 tickets remain available with the current setup at 1,980 seats. Whats interesting is that the venue can actually hold up to 2,665 seatsbut WWE hasnt added more, which usually happens when demand is high. Instead, the seating has stayed capped, showing that interest in this event isnt reaching typical WWE sellout levels.
WrestleTix noted that +419 since the last update (7 days ago) tickets have been picked up, bringing the total distributed to 1,681. The cheapest ticket available for fans is listed at $49.75. While thats not a poor turnout, the lack of expansion beyond the original setup is raising some eyebrows.
NXT Heatwave still boasts a stacked card, including Oba Femi vs. JeVon Evans for the NXT Championship, Jacy Jayne defending the TNA Knockouts World Title, and Hank & Tank putting their NXT Tag Titles on the line against DarkState. But the slower ticket movement could be a sign that this show isnt connecting with fans in the way WWE expected.
