Georgia independent wrestler David Joseph Mabry has been arrested for the second time in less than four months on charges involving explicit photos sent to an underage girl.
According to Coosa Valley News, Mabry, 25, of Rome, Georgia, was taken into custody on August 19 and charged with distribution of material depicting nudity or sexual conduct. Police allege Mabry sent a photo of his exposed penis to the underage female through a text message.
Back on April 25, Mabry was arrested by the Floyd County Sheriffs Office and charged with misdemeanor obscene internet contact with a child. In that case, media reports said Mabry sent a photo of his erect penis to an underage fan who had been at one of his shows and allegedly told her not to tell anyone. That case remains pending, with Mabry slated to be arraigned in November.
At the time of both incidents, Mabry was wrestling for KLT/NAWA Promotions, which has since rebranded under a new name.
This latest arrest further complicates Mabrys legal situation, raising questions about his future both in the ring and in the courtroom.
