Mercedes Mons currently one of the flag bearers for AEW and she believes AEW is without an equal. Thats why she had a very appropriate reaction to WWE constantly counterprogramming AEW.
While speaking to TV Insider, Mercedes Mon was asked about WWE running shows that go head-to-head with AEW events and whether she sees it as flattery or added pressure.
The CEO of AEW stated that she doesnt watch or care about what WWE is doing. Calling herself Eight Belts Mon, she pointed out that shes a champion in multiple promotions and said the more wrestling, the better.
No matter what, shes always going to be better, which is why she calls herself The CEO. Mercedes added that WWE can do whatever it wants, but AEW is taking over, and fans who want to see the best wrestling should be watching AEW.
This comes after WWE has been pitting shows like Saturday Nights Main Event against AEW All In: Texas, and is now set to pit the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event against the All Out pay-per-view in September this year.
The CEO of AEW is definitely not lacking in the confidence department since its clear she believes her company is truly better than WWE. So well just how to see how AEW continues to fare about WWEs counterprogramming tactics.
