NXT has been building momentum with every big show this year, and the brand is about to get even busier.

According to PWInsider, WWE NXT is expected to expand its Premium Live Event schedule moving forward.

The report notes that the current plan is for the developmental brand to run roughly eight specials per year. That number isnt locked in just yet, but its a clear indication that WWE wants to showcase NXT more often on the bigger stage.

This update arrives as NXT gears up for No Mercy, scheduled for September 27 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The event is set to stream live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally. It will also be the first major NXT show since April not to run head-to-head against an AEW pay-per-view.

With WWE pushing for more events, fans can expect NXT to deliver even more moments like last years No Mercy, which featured Giulias debut. The expanded schedule could mean more debuts, surprises, and championship matches throughout the year.

NXTs growth shows no signs of slowing down, but do you think adding more Premium Live Events will strengthen the brand or spread it too thin? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know where you stand on the move.
