Any concerns about Luka Doncics health were quickly erased on Tuesday night in Ljubljana.

Doncic returned to the court and poured in 28 points in his countrys 93-81 win over Great Britain, marking their first victory in preparation for EuroBasket 2025.

Doncic wasted no time silencing the skeptics. He scored 21 points in the first half, including 20 in his opening 10 minutes on the floor, while moving freely and attacking at will. The guard also started the night with a perfect stretch at the line.

By the end of the night, Doncics stat line looked exactly like what fans expect after a strict summer: 28 points on 7-of-17 shooting, 12-for-14 from the stripe, with 10 assists, six rebounds, three steals and a block.

His return was especially important after he exited Saturdays matchup against Latvia in Riga with a knee injury.

The sight of Doncic leaving in the middle of the third quarter after colliding with a teammate had sparked concern, but Tuesdays performance showed it was not nearly as serious as first feared.

The Stozice Arena crowd also saw Slovenia play strong team basketball, pushing the pace and dominating inside. They finished with 26 makes from the free throw line, while Great Britain slipped to 0-4 in their EuroBasket tune-up games.

With Belgium, France, Iceland, Israel, and host nation Poland waiting in Group D, Slovenia will enter Katowice with momentum. But first, they close out preparations with a marquee matchup against Serbia.

Luka Magic is officially back, and so are Slovenias hopes.
