Denzel Washington had plenty to say about sports media talking heads this week, and Kevin Durant made it clear he approved.
While promoting his new film Highest 2 Lowest alongside Jeffrey Wright, Washington sat down with Sports Illustrateds Greg Cally.
When asked about the pressure and criticism facing Bronny James and Shedeur Sanders, the 69-year-old Hollywood icon unloaded on those who comment without ever having played at the highest level.
Everybodys got an opinion. In fact, we live in a world of opinionaires, Washington said. Theyre on all the shows, a bunch of the guys, a couple that have played, but most of them who havent who have an opinion about what something should be when they havent done it. Those who can do. Those who cant talk about those who can. Those who have know what theyre talking about. Those who havent, dont. Period. Thats how I feel about that. Too much talking. Too much talking. Everybody got an opinion. Everybodys sitting around getting fat. You know, thinking they know how to do it. Just cuz you can sit behind a desk and chit chat doesnt mean you can do a damn thing.
