While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross revealed that after talking to AEW President Tony Khan, it was decided that Ross will be traveling to London to call a few matches at the Forbidden Door event. He made it clear he was excited about working at The O2 Arena, a venue he considers a major stage.

The AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will be taking place on August 24 at The O2 Arena in London, England and there are a ton of matches confirmed for the show. This includes Kazuchika Okada defending the AEW Unified Championship against Swerve Strickland, Toni Storm defending the AEW Womens World Championship against Athena and more.

Fans are just glad to know Good ol JR will be at the pay-per-view, considering the fact that he recently beat colon cancer and managed to call the action at All In: Texas. Therefore, well have to see which matches he will end up calling this month, as fans are looking forward to his appearance.
