Brock Lesnars return at SummerSlam shocked the entire pro wrestling world, as he took out John Cena. Naturally, many wondered what Paul Heyman thought of Lesnars return and now Heyman has revealed when Lesnars return came together.
While speaking to Ariel Helwani, Paul Heyman explained that Brock Lesnars return came together very quickly, within just a couple of weeks. Heyman said he doesnt pay attention to the criticism. From his perspective, anyone who was at MetLife Stadium saw how much the return meant to the audience.
The crowd was fired up to see Brock Lesnar come out and hit an F5 on John Cena. No one left the stadium disappointed. Fans were excited, and thats what matters, the paying audience was happy.
Paul Heyman said people will always complain, even about important figures like Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, and God. He pointed out that no president has ever had everyones approval.
This comes after reports claimed that WWE Legal had cleared Brock Lesnar for his return four weeks ago, but Paul Heyman has made it clear that everything happened in a couple of weeks. Nonetheless, well have to see how WWE will book Lesnar in the coming weeks as its clear the Beast Incarnate is back for good.
