AJ Styles shocked the wrestling world with his return to TNA at Slammiversary 2025, but fans may not have seen the last of The Phenomenal One in a TNA ring.
While Styles appearance was limited to a show-closing endorsement of new X Division Champion Leon Slater, new details are emerging about what could be next. In an interview with WhatCulture Wrestling, TNA President Carlos Silva addressed the elephant in the room: will AJ Styles ever wrestle in TNA again?
Silva made it clear that WWE gave the green light for the Slammiversary appearance, and both sides collaborated closely.
This comes after Sports Illustrated reported that AJ was originally set to have a segment with Frankie Kazarianhis longtime rivalbut plans were changed just hours before Slammiversary. Sources close to TNA suggest that WWE may have pushed for a more non-committal segment, avoiding any implications of a future match WWE wasnt planning to deliver.
With AJ Styles still on track to face Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE SummerSlam, his current commitments remain firmly with WWE. But Silvas open-ended response leaves the door cracked for one more TNA bout down the line.
Could AJ Styles wrestle one last classic under the TNA banner? The fans want it, and based on Silvas commentsWWE might not be entirely opposed either.
