Chelsea Green is back online and shes bringing backup.
The self-proclaimed CommandHER in Chief returned to Twitter nearly two weeks after deactivating her account following a wave of death threats. The heat came after Green posted a tribute to Hulk Hogan a gesture that drew serious backlash due to Hogans controversial history.
Green made her comeback official with a lengthy statement addressed to her loyal fanbase, the PatriHOTS, and wasted no time owning her return in typical Chelsea fashion.
She reminded fans that despite her accolades from being the inaugural Womens United States Champion to her appearances on WWE Unreal and Watch What Happens Live shes only human and cant be everywhere at once.
Green also revealed shes enlisted a DirectHER of Social Media to help run her account, promising to revamp her timeline and, in her words, paint this app and the entire WWE Universe Red, White & GREEN!
This return comes after Green publicly addressed why she left the platform in the first place, citing an overwhelming amount of negativity following her tribute to Hogan.
The threats were widely condemned by fans and industry peers alike, as many pointed out that no one should face real-world danger for simply sharing their admiration even for a polarizing figure like Hulk Hogan.
Greens return has already fired up her fanbase, and with her new social media director in tow, it looks like Chelsea plans to take control of the narrative on her own terms.
