WWE is making a massive shift in where fans will watch its biggest events and Peacock is officially getting the boot. Starting in 2026, WWEs Premium Live Events will stream exclusively on ESPNs brand-new direct-to-consumer platform, ESPN DTC.

That means WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and other major shows are headed to ESPN both on the streaming platform and, in some cases, on traditional ESPN TV channels. The new deal also includes pre-show and post-show coverage to give fans more access to WWEs world of chaos, drama, and hard-hitting action.

Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman of ESPN, emphasized that WWEs passionate audience makes this a no-brainer for the networks future streaming goals.

TKO President Mark Shapiro echoed the excitement, saying ESPN is the perfect platform to match WWEs larger-than-life presence, especially after seeing the success UFC had with the network.

WWE President Nick Khan called the deal a major step forward, bringing together two powerhouse brands that dominate their respective spaces.

WWEs agreement with ESPN is a pivotal moment for our millions of fans across the United States: the leader in sports entertainment partnering with the biggest brand in sports media. Bringing WWEs flagship events to ESPNs platform is tremendously exciting. We know the sky is the limit.

The new arrangement puts an end to WWEs streaming deal with Peacock, which had hosted Premium Live Events since 2021. With ESPN DTC stepping in as the new home, the change is expected to expand WWEs reach and elevate its live event viewing experience using ESPNs tech, coverage, and distribution power.

As WWE continues evolving its content delivery, this move marks a bold leap into the future of digital wrestling entertainment.
