Marcus Morris Sr. is making it clear he does not want his arrest in Florida last week tied to the word fraud.

The 35-year-old was taken into custody after prosecutors claimed he owed $265,000 to two Las Vegas casinos, money tied to bounced checks written to cover gambling markers.

While the case has been filed under fraud charges, Morris insists the entire situation is a misunderstanding.

Dont ever put my name with nothing but fraud, Morris said on his YouTube channel alongside his twin brother, Markieff. This is not fraud activity. I have never wrote a check to no casinos in exchange for money that I can put in my pocket. I wrote exchange for credit thinking that you know the source of the income and you know what Ive done in the past years to pay it back plus put the money back that I chose to take from yall to gamble with. So you know I want to just clear that up and then you could take it how you want.

Morris also described the experience of spending a few days in Broward County jail, admitting the reality of it hit him hard.

You could think about think about me this way, he said. But I know what my loved ones and the people that surround us and the people we surround ourselves with really feel about us. But listen, jail, dont f*** with it. Dont f*** with it. Thats why we had to do this s*** outside cuz I couldnt sit in no small ass room. I came home, I think I slept outside.

The charges could be dismissed if the outstanding balance is paid in full. That appears to be the direction things are heading, which would bring an end to the legal case, according to prosecutors.
