Dominik Mysterio is no stranger to crossing over into pop culture circles, and now hes throwing the door wide open for a possible WWE showdown with rapper Lil Uzi Vert.
During a recent interview with Sirius XM, Mysterio was asked which celebrity hed like to face in the ring. Without hesitation, the WWE star brought up Lil Uzi Vertpointing out that Uzi had previously expressed interest in wrestling him a couple of years ago. And if Uzis still serious? Dominiks ready.
This isnt just some fantasy booking. Lil Uzi Vert was asked by WWE interviewer Cathy Kelley about his dream WrestleMania opponent shortly after WrestleMania 39. The rapper wasted no time naming Dominik Mysterio as his top pickadding he wanted to teach the Judgment Day member a lesson.
The rap star had also hyped up a potential WrestleMania 40 appearance in his hometown of Philadelphia last year, but those plans never materialized. Still, the idea of Lil Uzi Vert stepping into a WWE ringand going one-on-one with Dominik Mysteriocontinues to generate real interest.
Whether its a celebrity crossover match or just a viral confrontation, Mysterio vs. Uzi would definitely turn heads. The ball now seems to be in Lil Uzi Verts court.
