Dominik Mysterio has a message for any wrestler pulling out the 619 stop, unless your last name is Mysterio.
While speaking with Robbie Fox on My Moms Basement, the current WWE Intercontinental Champion made it clear hes not okay with others using the iconic move his father made famous. His timing wasnt subtle either. At SummerSlam, IYO SKY hit Naomi with the 619 during their Womens World Title match and Dominik isnt letting it slide.
When asked directly whether it bothered him to see non-Mysterios using the 619, Dominik didnt hold back.
The 619, originally made famous by Rey Mysterio, has become a symbol of lucha libre pride and the Mysterio family legacy. But Dominik, now carving out his own path in WWE, wants to protect that signature even if it means publicly calling out fellow stars like IYO SKY.
Whether this was just a pointed warning or the start of an in-ring issue remains to be seen. But Dominiks words made one thing clear using the 619 without Mysterio blood isnt going unnoticed.
