WWE SummerSlam made history this year.

SummerSlam Saturdays attendance was 53,161 fans. That was an impressive number, but its not going to break any records, even in MetLife Stadium.

During SummerSlam Sunday, Stephanie McMahon came out before the main event to announce that they made history at SummerSlam. Night two had an attendance of 60,561. That makes the two-day total 113,722 people to make this the biggest SummerSlam in history.

WrestleMania 35 on April 7, 2019 went down at MetLife Stadium. That event had an announced attendance of 82,265. This was the largest WWE crowd reported at that venue. WrestleMania 29 was also at MetLife Stadium on April 7, 2013. It had a reported attendance of 80,676.

The largest SummerSlam attendance was at Wembley Stadium in London in 1992, with 78,927 fans. That being said, SummerSlams 2025 attendance is nothing to look down on, especially considering the fact that this was a two-night event.

We will have to see what happens in the future, but WWE is still packing a lot of people into buildings for their big events. At this point, every premium live event has the ability to break a new record.
