Jacob Fatu is making it clear his path to WWE wasnt built on family favors, even though his cousins are part of one of the most dominant storylines in wrestling history.
Speaking to Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Fatu explained that he deliberately avoided asking his famous relatives in The Bloodline for help, choosing instead to earn his spot on his own.
Fatu revealed that after keeping his free agency under wraps, the official WWE call came from none other than Paul Heyman, a figure with deep ties to his family.
He also expressed his gratitude to WWE leadership for giving him the opportunity to prove himself.
Fatus self-made journey now leads to one of the biggest nights of his career a United States Championship steel cage match against his cousin Solo Sikoa on Night Two of SummerSlam.
Do you respect Jacob Fatu more for refusing to ask The Bloodline for help, or should he have used that connection to his advantage? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
