WWEsacquisition of AAA is already reshaping the future of Lucha Libre and now a major development is coming to light: a WWE-aligned Performance Center is officially on the way to Mexico.

Speaking to Superluchas, AAA figure Ernesto Campo confirmed that the new training facility is in development and will open around mid-2026. The center will serve as a hub to polish AAA talent while introducing them to the WWE system.

Campo added that the center will be purely for training purposes and wont include a small arena like the WWE setup in Orlando.

The goal is to focus on every aspect of a WWE-style presentation from in-ring technique to mic work and character development. Trainers from Mexico will even head to Orlando first to get familiar with the system theyll be expected to teach.

Since the acquisition, fans have already noticed production upgrades across AAA programming. Now this new Performance Center signals that WWE is serious about long-term investment in the region and in redefining what Lucha Libre looks like for the future.

Blending AAAs deep tradition with WWEs machine-like training approach could produce a wave of new talent for both promotions. Whether that means future stars in WWE, AAA, or both remains to be seen but the groundwork is officially being laid.
