While speaking on the Outside the Ring podcast, Jeff Hardy talked about how social media started to affect him, especially with his music. At first, he never looked at the comments people left, but eventually he started reading them. A lot of the comments were kind and supportive, but some were really mean and hurtful.

Hardy said that the negative words started to get to him and mess with his mind and heart. For a while, he felt like Instagram was controlling how he saw himself and what he should be. It got so bad that it even made him consider quitting music, thinking he wasnt good enough.
