Brock Lesnar did whatever he wanted to do in WWE, and it appears thats what happened at the 2020 Royal Rumble, as Elias claimed Lesnar went off script during the match.

While speaking on Inside the Ropes, Elias revealed that Brock Lesnar went completely off script during the 2020 Royal Rumble. While Brock spoke to everyone beforehand, once it was go-time, he did whatever he wanted.

Elias had a whole segment planned out. He had written a song called The Sacrificial Lamb, knowing he was basically just there to get thrown around by Brock. Still, he wanted to make the most of his moment. His plan was to come out, perform the song while mocking Paul Heyman and then get into the match with some quick offense before Brock took over.

Elias even talked to Lesnar ahead of time and planned the spots, suggesting hed start with a knee and a few moves, then Brock could catch him and take control. Brock played along, asking him to repeat the plan but deep down, Elias knew Brock wasnt going to follow it.

When the moment came, Elias began singing his song in the ring. After taking a shot at Paul Heyman, the crowd reacted loudly. Suddenly, Brock stormed down the ramp. Elias was still strapped with his guitar and battery pack and saw Brock running at him full speed. In a panic, he dropped everything and legitimately ran, comparing it to being chased by a bear.

Elias slid into the ring just as the Beast Incarnate tackled him. Lesnar started throwing punches, slamming fists into Eliass head. Elias somehow escaped briefly, only to be hit with a German suplex. Brock then picked up one of Eliass guitars and smashed it over his back.

To top it off, Brock Lesnar lifted Elias and tossed him out of the ring but not before saying, Thank you. Elias was disappointed because that was supposed to be his big Royal Rumble moment, and Brock had completely taken over.

Despite the frustration, Elias admitted the moment became memorable in its own way. He remembered the adrenaline and the feeling of running for his life. Looking back, Elias said if he had the chance to do it all over again, he wouldve just hit Brock with the guitar.

Elias didnt get the planned Royal Rumble moment he was hoping for, but he ended up with something that was memorable. After all, having an unscripted moment like that with Brock Lesnar will be something fans will never forget and thats what truly matters in the end.
