Stefanos Tsitsipas might have indirectly called Goran Ivanisevic "a dictator" but the Croatian coach insists that there is "no hard feelings" on any side after their split.

After it was confirmed that Tsitsipas and Ivanisevic decided to call it quits on their collaboration after only two tournaments together, the current world No. 29 implied that he didn't feel comfortable around the 53-year-old. It wasn't hard to figure out that the Greek tennis player probably felt deeply insulted after the 2001 Wimbledon champion slammed him as "the most unprepared player" in one of his interviews after Wimbledon.

"It is very difficult to have dictators and people who speak negatively and you don't feel like they are close to you like family," Tsitsipas told Greek publication SDNA..

Ivanisevic after his split with Tsitsipas: We thanked each other, no hard feelings...

The Greek's strongly worded interview with SDNAraised some eyebrows. However, the Croatian tennis legend seemingly didn't take it personally- or simply wasn't bothered by it.

"We spoke yesterday, no hard feelings, we thanked each other. He decided to try again with his father, and honestly, I truly believe this the only person who can coach him is his dad. He played his best tennis with him, his dad knows him best, this is a family project. Its the best decision, I wish him all the best, hes too good of a player to be where he is," Ivanisevic told Croatian television HRT2.

Tsitsipas has been struggling heavily with his game and results for more than a year now. When he hired Ivanisevic, the Greek was hoping that Novak Djokovic's former coach could possibly helped him rediscover his best game - not only that - but also take the next step in his game that would help him achieve his Grand Slam hopes.
