
Five-time Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham indicated Tuesday he plans to retire from the NFL as a member of the New Orleans Saints.
Graham told the team's website of his plans, which will be announced in the near future, reporter John DeShazier posted to X.
He responded with his own post to X on Tuesday, writing: "What a journey."
Graham, 38, did not play in the NFL last season, but spent his final season with the Saints in 2023 after sitting out the 2022 season. He appeared in 13 games in 2023 and had six catches, four for touchdowns.
In 13 seasons, six with the Saints -- who selected him in the third round of the 2010 draft out of Miami -- he has 719 receptions for 8,545 yards and 89 touchdowns in 197 games. He also played for the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.
Including the playoffs, Graham has 94 touchdowns, which is fifth all-time for NFL tight ends.
