WWE Grooming Next Group of Top Stars to Join Current Main Eventers

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is starting to build up the next group of top stars to join the current big names like Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk. This is especially since John Cena is expected to leave by the end of the year. The company is focusing on Rhea Ripley, Jacob Fatu, and Bron Breakker as future main event talents.

Rhea Ripley is clearly being set up as the future leader of the womens division. Shes already one of the top stars and continues to grow in that role. Jacob Fatu reminds Meltzer of early 1980s Jimmy Snuka, a dangerous heel who is so exciting and unpredictable that the crowd ends up cheering for him. His wild and unstoppable style makes him stand out.

Meltzer noted that Bron Breakker has all the athletic ability needed to succeed. WWE seems to be slowly giving him more time on the microphone, which is probably why Paul Heyman is managing him now. Heyman has been working with Breakker for a while and is helping prepare him for a bigger role.

Meltzer also thinks Trick Williams has the potential to be a top star. He works better as a babyface because thats when his charisma really shows. Hes a good athlete and great on the mic, but his wrestling still needs more improvement. While hes getting better, hes not at the same level in the ring as Ripley, Fatu, or Breakker. Even then, when it comes to personality and talking skills, hes already close.

Bron Breakker already received tons of props for his performance in the gauntlet match on this past weeks episode of Raw. On the other hand, WWE has a major promotional lineup planned for Jacob Fatu. As for Rhea Ripley, she remains a major focus on WWE television, so its clear WWE is grooming all three of them for greatness.
