Wednesday nights Jimmy Kimmel Live went completely off the rails when guest host Jelly Rolls planned interview with Randy Orton turned into a full-on WWE showdown.
What started as a laid-back chat quickly spiraled into chaos with Drew McIntyre crashing the setfollowed by Logan Paul getting chokeslammed through a glass table.
The segment began with Jelly Roll and Orton reflecting on what went down at WWE Saturday Nights Main Event, where Jelly Roll caught a Claymore Kick from McIntyre. Orton reassured the host, telling him: We got each others back, man. Thats what were in this together. At SummerSlam, were gonna get ours.
But things took a sharp turn when McIntyre interrupted the segment. Claiming he came in peace, McIntyre immediately went after Jelly Roll with a few low blowsverbally, that is.
You truly are an inspiration to trailer trash all across the world, brother, McIntyre said, before adding, After you lost all that weight, how did it feel to finally see your little Tootsie Roll for the first time in 20 years?
That was enough to set Orton off. He stepped in and fired back with: Nobody flew here to see you act like a prick. Wrong time, wrong place.
The two superstars started brawling on set and fought their way off-stage and into the back while Jelly Roll tried to regain control of the show. But it didnt stop there.
Logan Paul was next to storm the set, and he wasted no time getting under Jelly Rolls skin. Paul mocked him from the moment he stepped out: You a late night talk show host? You a wrestler? You a country star? He continued with, You my friend, are a greasy redneck prison rat.
Then, Paul slapped Jelly Roll across the face and smirked: Theres your receipt, stupid. Its Logan Pauls show now, a real superstar.
Big mistake. Jelly Roll slapped him right back, then grabbed Paul by the throat and chokeslammed him through the glass interview table, shattering it and sending the audience into a frenzy. The show ended with Paul laid out in the wreckage.
The mayhem appears to be a setup for even more drama at SummerSlam. Orton vs. McIntyre is confirmed, but after this, fans are now expecting Logan Paul and Jelly Roll to get involvedmaybe even in the same ring.
Do you think Jelly Roll will officially step into the ring at SummerSlam? Should WWE make this match happen? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know what side youre on.
