Brooks Jensen just made a statementand he did it in brutal fashion. After weeks away from WWE programming, Jensen returned during the July 16 episode of WWE EVOLVE and immediately inserted himself into the title picture.

In the main event, WWE EVOLVE Champion Jackson Drake successfully defended his title against Lince Dorado. But the celebration didnt last long. Just as Drake was coming off his win, Jensen stormed the ring and attacked him from behind. He blasted the champ with a lariat and stood tall, holding the WWE EVOLVE Championship briefly before tossing it beside Drake and walking out.

This was Jensens first appearance since June 3 on WWE NXT, when he was ousted from The Culling. That segment ended with Izzi Dame hitting him with a steel chair while Shawn Spears and Niko Vance looked on. Dame later claimed that Jensen never fully committed to the group, which led to his removal.

Jensen hasnt wrestled on TV since May 25 at WWE Battleground, where he teamed with Spears and Vance in a losing effort against Hank & Tank and Josh Briggs. His return now raises major questions about his next moveand whether hes coming for Drakes title next.
