AEW brought All In: Texas to fans on Saturday, and it was an event that captured a lot of attention. The show had some planning involved, and the company took care of it in their own way.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that AEW kept the general match order for All In undisclosed, even from some producers until the day of the event.
Rehearsals took place at an undisclosed location on Friday night. It would be interesting to know where that took place, but not a lot of information is known about those run-throughs. In fact, many match results were kept very close to the vest.
It was further reported that several match outcomes were kept internal, with multiple matches having alternate finishes arranged between the wrestlers. Some matches, like Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Mon, followed creative plans that had been in place for months.
The report also noted that the result of Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley had also been determined earlier, following Hangmans win at Double or Nothing. So, Moxleys AEW World Title loss was all a part of the plan.
We will have to see what happens later with AEW, because they have a brand-new world champion and a lot of things in the pipeline. Ringside News will also have full coverage of whatever they do next.
