Carlitos latest WWE run didnt end with a big farewellor even a conversation. According to the veteran star, his exit from the company was marked by silence, confusion, and a last-minute text that told him not to bother showing up.
Speaking on D-Von Dudleys podcast on July 15, 2025, Carlito opened up about how his contract quietly ran out without anyone from WWE reaching out. He said the company never made it official with him until it was basically over, leaving him frustratednot bitter, but disappointed.
Carlito emphasized that he wasnt asking for special treatmentjust basic respect for the work he put in. He showed up on time, did what was asked, and took pride in being a reliable part of WWEs roster. Yet in the end, he felt like he didnt even matter enough for a proper goodbye.
Earlier this summer, Carlito also shared similar feelings during an appearance on Busted Open Radio, where he said he wished the company had given more closurenot just for him, but for others like R-Truth who had just returned to TV. He didnt want a big spotlightjust a meaningful wrap-up to the Judgment Day storyline hed been involved in.
