The July 14 episode of WWE RAW went down in the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama. It was quite a show as the follow-up after WWE Evolution, and we needed to figure out who will face Becky Lynch next for the WWE Womens IC Title.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria went to war on RAW this week in a two out of three falls match. The winner of the contest would go on to SummerSlam.
After a bit of wrestling, Bayley secured the first fall before they went to commercial break. Then Lyra Valkyria was able to score the second fall with a quick roll-up. Bayley wasnt happy about that at all.
These two took each other to their limits. Bayley was able to kick out after a Night Wing finisher from Lyra, but she didnt land the move 100% clean. So, the contest carried on.
The two eventually started fighting on the apron, but then they moved back into the ring. After teasing a few spots, Lyra was able to nail a Night Wing and get the win. Now, Lyra will go onto SummerSlam to face Becky Lynch once again.
SummerSlam 2025 will be the first-ever two-night event of its kind. The biggest party of the summer will go down at MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3. Now we know a big featured match for the show.
