The July 14 episode of WWE RAW went down in the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama. It was quite a show as the follow-up after WWE Evolution.
During the closing moments of WWE Evolution, Naomi shocked the WWE Universe as she cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase to win the title. This week on RAW, The Glow had more than a warning for everyone.
Naomi kicked off the show this week. Her voice was a big hoarse as she reminded fans how she warned everyone. Nobody knew her next move, and thats why shes standing there as Womens World Champion.
Then she called out Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for only wanting her as a third wheel and a flunky, but now she has the upperhand. Then Rhea Ripley came out after Naomi reminded everyone to proceed with caution. Mami didnt look happy, either.
Rhea Ripley said that shes not cautious, shes reckless and pissed off. After Ripley said that Naomi is now on her list, IYO Sky made her way out. Sky told Rhea to get in line, and she wants a rematch for the title from Naomi.
The Glow told IYO Sky that she didnt know what she just said, but both IYO and Rhea Ripley can get to the back of the line. As the three bickered, Adam Pearce came out to settle things. He then declared that Naomi is on WWE RAW now, and he welcomed her. He also said that IYO versus Rhea at Evolution was absolute magic.
Then Adam Pierce mentioned SummerSlam coming up in three weeks, and this will be the first-ever two-night event in history. MetLife Stadium will be packed on August 2 and 3, and he announced that Naomi will defend her title against IYO Sky and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match at SummerSlam.
We will keep a close eye on this storyline. Anything can happen in WWE, and the days are ticking down until SummerSlam is here.
