WWE brought Evolution 2 to fans, and it was a historic show. Atlanta, Georgias State Farm Arena also saw a title change before the night was over.

Rhea Ripley walked into WWE Evolution with the Womens World Title in her sights, but she had to beat Iyo Sky, someone she had never defeated in the past. This match served as the main event for Evolution, and it was quite a physical matchup.

There were a lot of close calls and near falls in this match. In the end, IYO Sky had a comeback for everything Rhea Ripley threw at her. The Nightmare was also able to counter The Genius of the Skies offense time and time again. Needless to say, this hard-hitting match had a lot on the line, and it felt important as well.

As the match got closer to the finish, IYO Sky kicked out of a Razors Edge from Rhea Ripley. Then IYO countered a Rip Tide with a sleeper hold. So, they moved to the top rope where Ripley jumped down, but then IYO accidentally dropkicked referee Jessika Carr. Ripley hit the Rip Tide, but Carr was out of commission, so she couldnt count.

After that, the action spilled over to the ringside area before they started fighting across the floor of the State Farm Arena. The two ended up fighting on a few production crates before IYO nailed a dive off the highest crate to Rhea on the floor. Fans chanted holy sh*t after that, and for good reason.

The two eventually returned to the ring as Jessika Carr got back to her feet. IYO nailed an Over The Moonsault, but then Rhea kicked out at two as Carr got back into the ring just in time to make the count. Then IYO went back up to the top rope as Rhea rolled to the apron. IYO grabbed Rhea and then Ripley nailed a top rope Spanish Fly.

Suddenly, Naomi came down to cash in her Money in the Bank contract. She made the announcement and it was a triple threat match. Naomi used the briefcase as a weapon on IYO and threw Rhea out of the ring. Then she nailed a Split Legged Moonsault on IYO to win the title. This was, ironically, the night after Mercedes Mone, who walked out with Naomi so many years ago due to Vince McMahons booking, lost her AEW Womens World Title match against Toni Storm at All In: Texas.

We will keep a close eye on this title picture, because things certainly changed in a big way at WWE Evolution. Only time will tell who is on top of WWE by the time another Evolution event rolls around.
