WWE has a lot of things going on, and we are now officially on the road to SummerSlam. This weeks WWE RAW will make a lot of momentum in that direction.
During WWE Evolution, it was revealed that a gauntlet match will go down on RAW this week. The winner will then go on to face GUNTHER at SummerSlam, since the Ring General was able to topple Goldberg at Saturday Nights Main Event.
WWE has announced a major Gauntlet Match for the July 14 episode of Monday Night RAW, which will take place at Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.
The match will determine the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, with the winner earning a title shot against current WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. Participants in that match will include CM Punk, Penta, Bron Breakker, LA Knight, and Jey Uso.
This high-stakes gauntlet match is likely to headline the episode as WWE builds toward its biggest party of the summer. Only time will tell who wins and gets the big #1 contender spot.
