WWE brought Evolution 2 to fans, and it was a historic show. Atlanta, Georgias State Farm Arena saw a few interesting moments, and the NXT Womens Title match was quite a contest.
Jacy Jayne took on Jordynne Grace with the NXT Womens Title on the line. Fatal Influence was on hand in Jaynes corner, and Blake Monroe stood on Graces side.
The match was back-and-forth and fans were on the edge of their seats. In the end, the NXT Womens Title was brought into the picture as a potential weapon, but the referee stopped it from going down.
Eventually, Blake Monroe ended up with the NXT Womens Title, and she used it to take a swing at the ring during the match. However, Jacy Jayne reversed Jordynne Graces Irish Whip into the ropes. Then Monroe hit Grace with the belt which gave Jayne a chance to win the match.
After the contest, Blake Monroe teased that she meant to turn on Jordynne Grace as she walked across the ring where Fatal Influence was celebrating. This tease also gave a big indication that she will be a presence to be dealt with.
We will keep a close eye on the womens division in WWE, because its anyones guess how things will pan out. Evolution may also become a yearly event, but we thought the same thing during the first one in 2018.
