AEW All In: Texas delivered pure chaos during the AEW Tag Team Title match, but it was what happened after the final bell that truly shocked fans. After Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin retained their AEW Tag Team Titles, Christian Cage was left alone in the ring betrayed and beaten down by those he trusted most. Thats when Adam Copeland made his return to save his longtime friend.
The match was intense from the start. Lashley and Benjamin dominated early, smashing through JetSpeed and The Patriarchy. Despite a fast-paced offensive from Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight, The Hurt Syndicate kept control with hard-hitting power moves. Shelton Benjamin dropped Bailey with a brutal German suplex, and Lashley speared Christian Cage after a timely distraction from FTR to score the win.
But what came next stole the show. As Cage tried to recover, Nick Wayne suddenly attacked him out of nowhere, turning on his mentor. Kip Sabian joined in, and the two delivered a savage beatdown. Nick Wayne hit an Unprettier on Cage as his mother laughed at ringside, soaking in the moment. Mama Wayne added insult by repeatedly slapping Christian Cage, leaving him stunned and humiliated.
Then they set him up for a con-chair-to.
Thats when Adam Copelands music hit and the roof nearly blew off the arena. He sprinted down the ramp and destroyed everyone in his path. Copeland speared Wayne and Sabian, then hit both members of FTR with a double spear. The crowd was electric as he cleared the ring.
In the most emotional moment of the night, Copeland walked over to Cage and instead of finishing the job, he helped him up and told him, Go find yourself.
The two shared a tense stare as Copeland exited, leaving Christian Cage in the ring, not bloodied, but clearly shaken and emotionally wrecked.
Adam Copelands return adds another deep layer to the ongoing AEW saga. Whether this is a reset for Christian, a reunion, or a deeper setup remains to be seen but the Hurt Syndicate may not be AEWs biggest threat anymore.
