The July 11 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. It was quite a show, and it also included a big night for one NXT Superstar.
Sol Ruca has made a lot of noise in NXT since her debut. An injury stint didnt get to her, either. Now she has made her debut on the main roster, but this is not an official call-up.
The current NXT Womens North American Champion is also the Womens WWE Speed Champion. She was on the show this week to show everyone what she had. Charlotte Flair was also at ringside, and she seemed impressed with Rucas talent.
Sol Ruca took on Alexa Bliss, Kairi Sane and Roxanne Perez in a four-way match this week on SmackDown during the shows first hour. This was a back-and-forth match, and it spanned a commercial break as well. Everyone had a chance to shine in this match as well.
At one point, Sol Ruca nailed a double Soul Snatcher, but Raquel Rodriguez was able to break up the pin. Then Zaria got involved and they had a bit of a brawl that involved Charlotte Flair in the end.
After everything was said and done, this match highlighted the upcoming Evolution premium live event, as the show will feature these Superstars in a four-way Womens Tag Team Title match. In the end, Alexa Bliss won after she hit Kairi Sane with a Sister Abigail.
We will have to see what happens for Sol Ruca in the future. She is certainly busy, and WWE Evolution will be a big night for everyone involved. The State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia will host the WWE Evolution premium live event on Sunday, July 13.
