The Evolution 2 Premium Live Event is just around the corner, but behind the scenes, things havent exactly been picture-perfect.
Despite WWE announcing a strong lineup and bringing back legends for the July 13th show, not every female star is thrilled about the eventeven some of the top names reportedly werent on board.
During a recent episode of The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp opened up about the internal reactions to WWEs all-womens event. While some talent were excited about the sequel to 2018s Evolution, others didnt see it the same way. Sapp noted that frustration from past treatment may have left a sour taste for certain talent at the top of the card.
He then recalled a moment that stuck with himan unnamed WWE Superstar threw shade at how the company handled Evolution 1s finish compared to all-male events.
Still, WWE has pulled together a packed card with plenty of returning legends and high-profile bouts. But the tension behind the scenes is very realand it could shape the future of all-womens shows going forward.
