TNA Wrestling and WWEs partnershiphas seen tons of growth over the past year and lots of crossover appearances have already happened between the companies. However, TNA President Carlos Silva has admitted there is concern about TNA talent leaving for WWE.
While speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Carlos Silva was asked if there is concern about TNA talent leaving for WWE. Silva admitted that of course there is concern, but said you have to take the good with the bad and see how it actually helps continue to build TNA. Having spent a long time in the sports and entertainment business, hes always focused on creating strong partnerships that benefit everyone.
Silva explained that he doesnt lead by attacking others or trying to create division just to get ahead. He believes if you work together with people, everyone continues to grow, because all boats rise with the tide.
In TNAs case, he said theyre the smaller boat, so they definitely rise. He shared how just the other night he told his team about Joe Hendry opening the show with Trick two weeks ago, which drew 750,000 viewers on CW. That was a proud moment for them as well since TNA talent was featured at the start of the show. In the end, he feels it helps everybody.
Even though theres a real chance of losing talent to WWE, Silva thinks the benefits are much greater than the risks. As TNA keeps working with WWE and gets more attention on bigger stages, this partnership seems likely to keep helping both companies
